For the first time in my life, I finally went to Night Safari. Now I'm proud to call myself a Singaporean (hahahahahhaahaha). Well, it was a good training for me anyway, being forced to go into the bathouse and actually surviving it *applause*. And truth be told, I think Night Safari might be a tad more enjoyable than the zoo, considering that its cooling since its at night, and the crowds are fairly towards the young adults rather than a bunch of rowdy kids zooming in and out of your path. Hmm, ok there isn't much space for them to walk around anyway. I guess the downside is probably only the fact that you have to strain your eyes to find the stupid animals all hibernating around. It's funny, because aren't they supposed to be nocturnal??? THAT, I will never understand.
Well, I say great company makes everything enjoyable. :D
So yup, we both jumped on the last day to get the 1 for 1 tickets and went there last Sunday. It was really lucky though, I thought we'd miss it because my mum wanted to spend Mooncake festival with me and stuff but hola she decided to be a saint and let me out of the house. I'd never understand her too.

LONG LONG MAP |
And always pausing to take the commemorative photo, like tourists.
*Ahem* korean *ahem.
Stopped for awhile to watch the fire show (ok I really dont remember what they're called, some hugashaga probably) before going in around 8pm. Missed the early animal show, but it was probably for the better cause we caught the last show and it kinda fit in our schedules perfectly. :D
EAT YOUR ICECREAAAAAAAM |
After which, we started on our journey!! FISHING CAT TRAIL FIRST!
And, there's a severe lack of photos because my camera is too lousy for night phototaking, and obviously flash wasn't allowed. So, yeahhh here's what I have.
One nice photo of the old and balding pelican, of which I have to mention that the boy cannot tell the difference between ducks/birds and pelicans. HAHAHAHAHAHA.
Took the tram ride and stuff as well after watching the animal show.
The tram ride was pretty cool, like you just sit on it and it takes you around on a 40min tour around some areas that pedestrians dont go by, and with live commentary. Of course, it's a bit limiting when you don't get to see the animals cus some of them just dont want to let come out. LE SIGHS.
The animal show was pretty cute too, but a tad too short. Oh well. HAHAHA.
And can i mention how much I love the sloth bear. It is SO SLOTH LIKE. No photos of it, but please google it.
